Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church

This wedding day was no exception. From the faith-filled details to the silent prayers of the guests, this Catholic wedding at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Kansas City was simply stunning.
The Church basement provided plenty of space for the Mother of the Bride to help her daughter into her dress, a first look with the bridesmaids and with the Father of the Bride.
These were some of my favorite details from the day. The bride added lace from an old surplice to her veil and it was so unique and lovely. The groom's family brought that kneeler from home with a beautiful icon of the Holy Family for the bride and groom to use during the wedding ceremony. The crucifix and rosary were personal to the bride and well loved.
If the photos look a little out of order, it is because in the Latin rite, the couple gets married right away and then the rest of the Mass proceeds. I'll let you enjoy the rest of their ceremony now.
