The Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts & The Nelson-Atkins Museum Of Art

Beautiful light, timeless architecture, and the quiet kind of joy that only comes from being completely at ease together — this engagement session at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri was pure delight.

From the moment we started, these two slipped effortlessly into their own little world. They were not just posing for photos; they were truly together, happily stealing small moments wherever they could.

The grounds gave us the perfect backdrop, but the real stars were the quiet exchanges between them.   Every smile felt genuine, every embrace unhurried and full of warmth.

And of course, one very special guest made the session even sweeter: their adorable pup.   Including their dog brought such a personal, playful energy to the evening.   Some of the most joyful images came from those in-between seconds — a wagging tail, shared laughter, and the easy way their furry friend fits right into their love story.

Victoria and Grant, thank you for sharing such a beautiful glimpse into your love — your marriage is sure to be filled with joy, deep friendship, and plenty of happy little moments.

This session was made even more beautiful by the stunning architecture at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, which create timeless and romantic backdrops. If you are planning an engagement session in Kansas City, I would love to photograph it for you!
